Basti's Brew

Venturing out new places... Trying out something local. Basti's Brew was recommended by Cindy. The last time we wanted to go here it was jam packed. That's a good sign , right? It just means that people love the place. This time there were only a few people. Perfect for us since we love it more when it's a little bit quiet when we want to study. The ambiance is also very conducive. I love the songs they're playing... Very relaxing! Plus the very accommodating staff.

The counter. Notice that their lights are very cute! Creative!

Some soothing tea for Pokie :)

The Kitty went for Oreo shake! I love it. The whip cream is my favorite! I'm in love with this. Haha!

Just because I need a lot pens and highlighters when I'm studying.

Caffe Macchiato for Cindy. Ain't it cute? Presentation - check!
I guess it was a pleasant experience for all of us. They offered us to try out their limited edition drinks and cakes with a twist of durian flavor in it. Its only available every August in celebration of Davao's Kadayawan Festival. Since we were all broke at that moment and I'm not really into durian(call me weird)... We didn't try it! Maybe next year. I was drooling over their cheesecakes though! I'm dying to try one out when I come back.

I'll tell you more about them when I get the chance to try out more of their products. So far, these drinks right here got 2 thumbs up from my companions.

Store Hours:
7:30 AM to 12 MN on weekdays
7:30 AM to 2 AM on Fridays and Saturdays

They are located at Victoria Plaza :)

A Cup of Happiness

Everyone has been craving for a taste of tea. After going to church yesterday afternoon... Salivation came to its peak. We decided to walk towards the mall, call some friends, and made a toast with a cup of goodness.
A cup of happiness... A cup of Happy Lemon.

I think their logo makes the place happy! Its all over the place :D
Getting some stickers to get a key chain (I believe so)!

Cushioned sears! Yipee!
Magazines and tea products :)
Orders served!!! :))
Roasted Milk Tea with Black Pearl Sago

Cocoa with Rock Salt and Cheese - I highly recommend this drink! I would like to order this one if given the chance to come back :)

Green Tea with Rock Salt Cheese

Happy Lemon - Happy Everyday!
Oreo Cookies and Cream Coffee - This is what I had since I'm not a fan of tea! Too strong for me but effective in keeping me awake for study hours (although I didn't use it for studying). The oreos are, as expected, delicious especially with the cream.

The people who crave...
Karla's photo from Instagram :)
Prices range from 90-150 Php. Very affordable compared to others.

A lot of people are really happy that they're finally here. Looks like Davao's really booming! 2012 is definitely our year! A lot stores to open soon. Can't wait to get a glimpse of everything.

They are now open at The Peak - Gaisano Mall of Davao :)
Try and visit them... Everyday is a happy day with happy lemon!

Coffee for a cat

I think we found a new strange hobby - Studying.

Everyone's kind of busy these days. Since, it's the review season we find it very hard to control what we eat and usually end up in coffee shops. Consider it a place conducive for studying. I hope all these money spending activities are all worth it! I'm doing all of these for the sake of passing the board exam. I'm gonna need a lot of prayers so please include me in yours! Thanks!

Let's talk about the place and the food now... I'm not even biased. I love this place. My favorite! Next to Starbucks and Green Coffee :)

Food that captured my eyes...

Banoffee Pie

Tried this one before. I forgot the name but its very yummy!!!

Oatmeal and Chocolate Cookies :)

Chocolate Studded Butter Cookie! One of my favorites! It is a must try.

Dra. Cindy ordering! Their service is very good. They never fail to greet customers. Prim and proper. Kudos!

Indecisive people right here. Too many good food to choose from they got us all confused!

What's new? Can't decide? Always go for caramel. Haha! I don't know what's wrong with me. I love caramel.
They have yogurt, frappes, and a lot more. There's so much to choose from. Tip? Ask for the best sellers. You'll never go wrong... Or be like me. Order the usual! Haha.

The struggle between tweeting and studying. Disadvantages of studying in a place with WiFi. Haha!

Hayahay person over here! Freshly Registered Nurse over here just chillin' with us.

Talk about an addict! All gadgets out. Tweeting, Instagraming... Haha! Name it!

Dra. Cindy sitting on a separate table. RN and soon to be MD! Aja!

That's me... Pseudostolen shot. Haha!

Haven't been here for so long. Too bad we went there on a weekend. It had to close early. So, we just crossed the street and went to Green Coffee. Hurrah for 24 hours coffee shop!

Its a nice place to hangout. Not too silent and not too loud. They also have a branch near Sutherland and at the mall - YOGO :)

I bet if you're from a Davao you have already tried this... But if not... You should! Take it from a Kitty that loves coffee.

D'Leonor Inland Resort & Adventure Park

The adventure of a lifetime begins here. Never have I imagined to experience such things... Not until Davao Bloggers came to my life! Seriously! Haha.

It was our second from the last stop for our DB Tour: Davao Life Is Here. I've already heard a lot of good reviews about this place and I'm telling you that you're reading another one right now ;)

If you're an adventure seeker this is the place to be. There are a lot of activities that you can do here. Everything seems to be great! There are still a few things that they need to finish in terms of construction but almost everything is already available.

If you need a map here's what I found when I searched the internet: https://maps.google.com.ph/maps?q=d'leonor+inland+resort+%26+adventure+park+map&hl=en&ie=UTF-8
(Thanks to Ms. Algene for checking in! :D)

The uptown adventurers and the official photographers with the one of the most accomodating managers I've known!

Strolling the streets! Feeling like VIPs!

Shuttle ride. Going up!

Had to wear something comfortable that day. The day started with a drizzle and I expected that it would be somewhat cool so I wore 3/4s. Haha!

Their function hall.

Lunch like no other! Tasty food with very nice presentation! Too bad we weren't able to meet the chef who prepared the food for us. He was too busy because there was an event coming up for that night. All the same, the food was to die for! Happy tummy!

Tropical fruits

Bihon

Beef Steak

Fried Rice

Garlic Chicken

Fish Fillet

After making our tummies happy we were given the chance to get a view of their famous wave pool. The place is quite huge.

Spotted: A friend sleeping during work hours!

First activity to try was the wall climbing. Some went for it but I did not since it was too much for me to handle. I still had a hang over from the food during lunch time.

Nonetheless, I still wanted a picture. It's obvious that I didn't climb. You're not allowed to do so unless you have complete protective gear and of course the payment. (*Rates can be found at the end of this post)

Their hanging bridge. If I'm not mistaken... They have 3 of these and I guess this is the longest one. Who would dare?

I looked composed here even though I'm shaking inside! Haha! What a face!

Time for some action! Cable cars!

The other side!

View from the top

Now this is real action! Dawn and I had the guts to try out zip lining. Yes, I was scared at first. I was too concerned about my shoes falling off. Haha! The feeling's nice though! Very similar to parasailing except that it's a little bit scarier because if ever (knocks on wood) you fall off you'd hot concrete grounds. Haha. But rest assured that they're fully equipped and safety measures are always implemented.

YOLO!

3 little kids in one ride! Cute and amazing. Haha!

Our favorite part of this whole experience! ATV! The first ever in Davao. Glad to be one of the firsts who have tried it! I don't know how to drive but this will give you the confidence. Haha! It's easy and very fun! I wanted to do it the whole afternoon! Haha!

It was a wonderful experience. So many firsts in one day in my first ever event with the Davao Bloggers. So much win! I consider myself one luck girl. Thank you D'Leonor for being very accommodating and letting us try out everything for free. It was very generous of you. I hope that people would discover how much you can offer and I bet in no time you'll be one of the "musts" for tourist here in Davao! Kudos to all of you!

P.S.
So, A lot of people were asking me about their prices and all. Thank goodness they gave me a brochure! This is going to be a plus factor because I’m going to type it for all of you! Haha.
