An inch away from my dreams...

Rushed ourselves to the other end of the railway! We had to be early for the ABS-CBN Studio Tour! :)
I cannot explain how happy I was to finally step foot on the building that I wish to work at in the near future! I was really hoping to see a lot of celebrities there. I did saw a lot! Most of them are newscasters. Upon entering the doors... Yes doors 'cause there were plenty of them... We bumped into Atom Aurallo. He was walking too fast while he was on the phone so we didn't have the chance to take a picture with him. We also passed by Ted Failon who was working in a radio program at that time but had enough time to wave at us.

After a few minutes of searching for the right office we finally arrived! :)

While waiting we noticed these frames on the wall. Hand prints of the artists! Kim Chiu had one at the lobby. Just saying... ;)

Stickers! For all those who are touring we were given stickers for identification purposes.

At around 8 AM or so the orientation started headed by Sir Mark who had an awful lot of sense humor. Glad our companions that day were very game and happy. We were all getting along just fine. The tour guides (if that's what you call them) are very knowledgeable and witty! We all liked them! It made the experience more fun.

Fist stop. Kris TV's set! It looks smaller than it appears on TV.

We also went to ASAP 2012's set! This is how it looks without the people and all the cameras and lights are down.

Last stop before lunch! ANC's newsroom. Guess what? I was asked to sit! Haha! Fun fun fun! Although the lines on my neck were emphasized at least I appeared "kutis artista" on TV! Haha. I was very conscious and I was laughing every now and then.

Group picture!

This is TV Patrol and Bandila's set! :)

We were asked to eat lunch a little bit early because we had to go to the Showtime studio an hour before it airs. So we ate at the ABS-CBN canteen. We also saw the Dolphy Theater.

A few minutes passed and it was finally SHOWTIME! The dance for the opening was taught beforehand. We were giving it our all since this may be considered a once in a lifetime chance. We were hyped up by the threat of swapping seats with those people at the back since we were stationed near the stage with the perfect view of everything! Haha.

Almost got chosen to play a part for Sine Mo To but I was too passive and shy. Haha. I've learned my lesson! I should be all out the next time I visit this show!

You know what was missing that day? Anne Curtis. It's never complete without her! We were on a bad timing since that day she was flying to Europe with Erwan. Tsk tsk! I was also expecting for Billy Crawford to arrive since he was already in the  Philippines that day... but he didn't. Oh well. There's always a next time anyway. I just hope next time... The both of them are around.

Here are random photos from our point of view during the show:

The man behind this successful show. "Direk Bobet"

Karylle conversed with the madlang people beside us. She was very sweet and gamely posed for everyone until the last minute!

I was struggling to get a photo with them because the commercial break was only five minutes and the people were all attacking them! Haha. Good thing Jhong Hilario was kind enough to approach our side and I immediately grabbed the opportunity!

The "Hurados" for the week... Slater Young and Cheena Cojuanco with of course the mainstays: Jhong and Vice Ganda.

This is Baby Joy squealing. The first ever Showtime baby.

After the show the hosts and judges all exited the set... Leaving us no chance to take a picture with them :(
But the sweet treat isn't over yet. Starbucks treats await us on our way out of the studio! Made us happy in an instant!

It was a very unforgettable experience! I hope Showtime will continue to make people happy everyday. The unique thing about them is that they're not afraid to make mistakes. It shows how spontaneous they are on set which makes everything look natural and light. I just miss the old version though... When performances were definitely world class. Nonetheless, I will come back when time permits!
