2014 RECAP

The year is coming to an end now and a new one will come. I hope 2015 will be good for us all.

There's a lot to be thankful for this year despite all the negative things that happened and will happen. I know I can give the most ironic advice to my friends that I can't actually apply to myself. But I think staying positive and looking at the brighter side of life has kept me sane for the longest time. Your ultimate defense against all these hardships will be your faith. We all need to believe and trust in what God has in store for us. Everything does happen for a reason even if sometimes... The reason is unclear.

So, I'm gonna have a quick recap of my life in 2014. (In no particular order)

Celebrated our first anniversary!

Went on a quick tour at Manila thanks to this pretty girl right here!

Met up with college friends when Harie went home from the US

Went island hopping the comfy way with my love and my team LG!

Went to Makati for training and felt like a real office girl.

Adopted yet another cat.

Tasted the finest buko halo halo at Apareja!

Starred in a trailer contest/

Got myself an iPhone.

Pushed through with my Malaysia trip with Yelen and Jan,

Went back to the resort we always went to as kids.

Became a godparent to this adorable baby.

Forgot a monthsary and felt guilty when these flowers arrived at my doorstep before the day ended.

Forgot my uniform on my last day of duty as a nurse.

Went to Singapore and only spent less than 24 hours there.

Had a cute photo with my dad after his operation.

Cried over a movie that made me consume a roll of tissue. *The movie was She's Dating The Gangster

Met new friends while making the most out of Makati!

Went to Mati with my high school friends.

Got lost in Manila and realized we were in Luneta park.

Got a new job that I actually like and enjoy.

Got an early present from my boyfriend to motivate me to get better in life and health. Only had a few attempts. Let's add this for my new year's resolution.

Actually texted to vote for my bet on a reality show. *Pinoy Big Brother

Got reunited with my college classmates. Hosted by our rising celebrity friend Clark.

Bought myself a flat screen smart tv.

Got our teeth cleaned and fixed.

Bought myself a book that I haven't finished yet because I'm too lazy.

Unexpectedly went to an abandoned bridge and took the opportunity to take a photo.

Well, these are the things that I remember. I could use time hop and review everything per day. Haha. I guess 2014 wasn't that bad after all. I think I made the best out of it. Last few days left and I'm still working on  making it worthwhile.

How was you year? I hope you had fun as much as I did. Let's diss all the negative vibes.

Until next year!

XO

Christmas at Work

In case you've missed out on the latest happenings in my life. Here's a quick update. I'm no longer practicing my profession. Well, that escalated quickly. LOL! But seriously though... I'm loving my job right now and I hope everything will turn out just fine.

It was my first time to attend the annual bankers Christmas party and I really thought it would be lame and boring. My impression before was that bank people are usually serious and matured. I realized that they can be fun sometimes. We were late for the program because we had a long prep time. Don't ask.
Here are my colleagues. I should have made them do the ootd pose though. Everyone was all dressed and dolled up.

I know, I know... We are vain.

Valued guests of the night get to sit in front.

Intermission.

When things go out of hand. Flood of groupies.

I hate how my arms look so huge! Haha. We were the last ones in and I guess the last ones out. We were supposed to dine out again because our tummies weren't satisfied but in our town, there are no late night cafes or restos so we ended up heading home instead.

But wait there's more... After the banker's party we also had our own mini party at our office. Small gathering but lotsa food and entertainment.

Here's Ma'am Susie for an impromptu opening remarks.

Our party's theme was supposedly KPOP but I don't think I achieved it with my outfit. I just wore neon tank top and tight pants plus a jacket with some holes in it. I was so preoccupied with the program that I couldn't care less. Haha!

My favorite part of the table was the chocolate fountain. It's heaven.

We had our gifts exchanged and a short karaoke session to conclude our night. My secret Santa got me what I wanted! Make up products and brushes from E.L.F. :D

Christmas came early for us at work but will surely end late.

I hope everyone's enjoying the holidays!

Merry Christmas kitties!

XO
