SINGAPORE AT NIGHT

Was hyped to somewhere new again and have new stamps on my passport!

So there was a slight delay in plans with our bus ride since everything was fully booked and we had time delay in going to Singapore from Malaysia. We decided to have breakfast at Old Town again because it was near the condo where we were staying at. Since Yelen was pregnant we had a few more hours to spare for rest and a little planning on what we were going to do at Singapore.

Food servings at Malaysia? You really get what you pay for.
When it was finally time to go. Energy levels were high.

Their bus terminal was like an airport. It was clean and very spacious. Your ride arrives and leaves on time. Not to mention the comfortable seats aboard. So much appreciation for this kind of system. I hope they implement this here in the Philippines.

After the long ride! We finally arrived at Singapore. We booked our accommodation online.  5 Footway Inn was the bomb! Loved it there. Sulit! The rooms were small but clean. Beds and sheets were uber comfy. Bathrooms were also very clean. They had free breakfast. It was nice because it was like a bread and cereal buffet and tourists had the chance to make new friends there. We met a few who have been to the Philippines and mentioned how much they wanted to visit Davao in particular.

We arrived very late at night but we still went out for a quick stroll hoping we'd see some sights at that hour.

We met up with Kling who was also at Singapore with her family.

I'd say Singapore's pretty expensive. Well their food was.

Though it was just a quick night stroll at the city we still had fun. We went back to the inn and concluded the night. We needed lots of energy for the next day to come. We only had less than 24 hours to enjoy Singapore. It was a backpacker's adventure.

Traveling is so much fun. You get to learn a lot and enjoy the beauty of life.

Until the next adventure time!

KL CITY GALLERY

My dork face selfie at the bus! I just felt like posting it.

During the city tour this was included in the itinerary and I just felt like this deserved a separate post. The beauty of the gallery was just too much.

Here are beautiful gowns designed and made with paper!

 And this!

It was such a beautiful thing to watch. It was a miniature of Malaysia. It had pretty lights and it felt like a mini tour too. When the lights turned off there was a video presentation about Malaysia and with every district presented certain part of this illuminated with colorful lights! It was just so nice and I had a hard time taking picture because "flash" was not allowed and I would have opted to take a video but it was too late for me to realize it. At least I had photos to share with you!

Well, maybe next time... I hope there's still one.

Until the next artsy fartsy thing with me.
