MALAYSIA: CITY TOUR

Our second day at Malaysia was intended entirely for our City Tour. We took the Hop On Hop Off because it was cheaper and we didn't have to worry about getting lost or looking for a ride. We just had to wait at designated bus stops.
Although we weren't sure of the places we were going to visit but we still went on and took the risk.
Outside the royal family's home. It was huge! The golden gates were awesome. Very strict security! I wonder what it looks like inside.
At the bird park!
At the National Mosque. It was very nice and clean.
Kuala Lumpur City Gallery was awesome!   I think I'll compose another entry of what's inside the gallery. Quite exciting!
This cafe was inside the gallery and the cakes looked pretty so we just had to give in and try them.
Best chocolates I ever tasted!!! I was so happy because of the free tasting! Haha. It was heaven. I'd gladly go back for this chocolate shop in the near future. I wish I had a lot of RMs to purchase lots of chocolates. Ugh!

We had lunch just a few meters away from the chocolate shop. The restaurant was called Saloma. Slightly expensive but they had good food and the nice ambiance.
Malaysian food is spicy. My tolerance is super low but I still ended up eating a lot.
KL tower! My selfies suck though but I glad I was blessed with a monopod.
Pasalubong shopping at Chona Town!

I had so much fun with this tour because we were occassionaly bumping into kababayans.

I highly recommend hop on hop off city tour. It's cheap, convenient, and fun. Make sure that you're always ready to vacate the bus because doors close pretty fast. It was energy draining but heart warming. In filipino terms... Sulit ang pagod!

Made the most of my travel experience!

There's still a lot more to share but that's it for now.

Until the next adenture!

SEPTEMBER FAVORITES!💜

Just a quick post before I go out!

First time to blog a monthly favorites post. So, I just list down the things I used often for this month.

For the scent i'm loving VS Strawberries and champagne. Loved this since I was young and someone gave a bottle of it! I used to have the lotion and now finally the perfume version. It's a sweet lady like scent. Doesn't wear off that fast too.

Number two - Belo Acne Pro Pimple Gel. I got this from sample room for free (If you want an invite just comment your email below). Since my present job involves handling money I easily get small pimples on my face. I use a tiny bit of this product and it does help out somehowin drying pimples. They have other products that come with this but I have yet to try them.

Number three - Ben Nye Luxury Powder. I got this repacked one for a smaller size from K Cosmetics. You can search them on instagram and facebook. I had this for quite some time now but I've been loving it this month. I only use a little amount of it so it lasts longer with me.

Number 4 - Etude house Eyebrow pencil 3. I know i have thick brows but I have lots of those spots with uneven hair so I just fill them out with this. I like that it comes with a spooly( Not sure how you call it).

Number 5 - Happy Skin's Get Cheeky With Me. A blush on that just looks natural on me. I think its a little bit pricey for a 5g make up. But the packaging is nice and it comes with a compact mirror thingy!

Number 6 - wet n wild lippie in smokin hot pink. Hara gave this to me when she got home from the states. I love how it gives color to my lips. My to go lippie for this month. Thanks Harie for this lippie. That rhymed.

Number 7 - Burt's Bees lip shimmer in fig. This is absolutely my favorite lip shimmer balm whatever thing of a jigger! It gives a minty feel and very smooth on my lips. Also fairly pigmented! So I can just put this on and I'm good to go. Surely will purchase another if it runs out. This is just another sample I got from sample room. Hoooorrrraaaay for sample room!!!

Number 8 - Color Collection in Tokyo Red. I really love how deep kind of red this is. I've been wearing it alternately with burt's bees and wet n wild lippie. Especially on casual fridays at work.

Number 9 - pink case for my phone. Although I just use it at home since I also have one in metallic pink which my other half gave me. This one in the main photo I bought from Daiso at Manila during my training.

So that's my quick September favorites for you guys! I hope you like it. Disclaimer:  Not a beauty guru just sharing my thoughts!

Much love and respect.

MALAYSIA DAY 1

Yelen and I at the airport

Because I just felt like wearing red.

Yelen was pregnant so she did a lot of sleeping at that time

Touch down Malaysia!

My view from my room! Thanks to the couple who provided me such a comfy and cold room!

At Old Town White Coffee

We had lunch at Vivo

We ate a lot but there's always room for dessert! Their sundae vanilla cone was taller than usual

I really wanted to eat Rotimum but it wasn't available there so I ended up with their own version of coffee buns

Off to see the famous towers!

Train chip!
No idea who this is but she requested for her photo to be taken I just did. Well I hope you find this here miss! :)
Low quality because we used my phone's front cam using a monopod!
Concluded the night with fresh juices - very fresh indeed without sweeteners!

Why did I go to Malaysia? Because it's truly Asia. Just kidding! I merely grabbed the opportunity of traveling at a cheaper price. My friend Yelen was already bound for Malaysia months before our trip because her husband works there. They had a condo unit which I happily availed during my stay. So that's minus the expense for accommodation plus we can cook meals there.
A lot of people would tell me that Malaysia is a cheaper travel destination than other countries. Well, I couldn't really compare because it's actually my first time to travel outside of the Philippines. When you keep on converting RM to PHP it's about the same price the difference is you really get what you pay for in Malaysia. Their servings of meals are huge and fit for the appetite of men or even more.
We arrived at night time so we really didn't get to stroll but instead we ate at the nearest coffee shop after dropping off our things.
Hospitality wise Filipinos are more accommodating some people over there can be mean at times but mostly they were good. Another observation is that they had lots of crows. Idk why but at first it scared me but I just got used to it. They were very organized in terms of buildings and very clean too.
The morning thereafter, Yelen and I just went mall hopping because her husband Jan was still at work and we weren't confident on strolling by ourselves.

There's so much more to share and this post might go on and on and on... So I say to you,
Until the next adventure!
