I've known this girl for quite some time now. I've been friends with her since first year college and she's one of the few people who talked to me back when I was the silent type of girl who just lurks in the corners of the room avoiding the people. Since then we've been good friends. We even have terms of endearment for each other. We go by the colors we love. Blue and Violet. Cute huh? And for obvious reasons I'm Violet... and she's...

So what pushed me to feature her on my blog? I have been  convincing her to go on lookbook.nu and finally she gave in to it. Let's just wait for her to launch her account. I'll let you know.

 So this will be her very first feature as a fashionista! :D Well, everyone would agree how this girl's style evolved from simplicity to the sweet and classy lass!

MAKES US WONDER

There may be a lot of curious minds out there right now trying to figure out this girl. Where did all of this came from?

This all started back when she graduated from grade school. Her dad gave her a fashion magazine and according to this lass... Right then and there she wanted to dress up. See how fashion magazines can be so influential in such a young age? Besides the fashion mag I also asked her who influenced her into this. Her answer? No other than herself. After all fashion is about expressing oneself, isn't it?

I had the chance to ask her just a few more questions and she gamely answered. So here it goes...

Can you describe your sense of style to us?

Sweet and Classy. I’m not into accessories but I do love wearing men’s watches 0.o

Who is your style inspiration? Where do you get the ideas on what you wear?

 Every Chance I'd get! HAHAHA! Esp when Further Reductions' around the corner. Lol

What are some tips you have for those who want to update their wardrobes without buying all new clothes? 

Mix and match it is. And oh! they can even unleash their creativity thru altering some clothes

 I actually look up to Ms. Kryz Uy and Ms. Camille Co. I love the way these two work on their daily wardrobes :)

F21, WAGW, Candies are on the top of my list

You feel most comfortable in?

 Long sleeves/ Oversized tops! It goes well with any type of bottom.

Fashion is what you create that boosts your confidence while being comfortable in what you wear ;)

She spends a lot of time with her cousins. From what I've noticed they all are fashionistas in their own way. They look like sisters! 

She's just adorable like a doll. She can carry herself well in any type of outfit she wants to go by. Looks like another fashionista to look forward to, right?

I don't know if there are other ways to style this dress but I just went for the obvious. Haha! Couldn't figure it out. I just love how blue and gold go along perfectly! Though I look quite bigger in it, the cloth used just feels so nice on my skin.
I just found the mule shoes on our rack and its also in gold and blue so I thought I'd pair it with this get up of mine. I wish the heels were a lot higher though. The good part was that I didn't have to suffer the pain of walking in super high heels!

There's something about bandage skirts that makes an outfit level up just a little bit... plus the heels. I'm not really into accessories because I feel uncomfortable wearing them in broad daylight and I'm usually allergic to them. It's quite different not wearing accessories though. It feels like a "must!" My hair is kinda messy! Crash that... It is messy! This is a result of a bun that was on for an hour or so and when you release it turns your hair extra wavy but in a good way (I think). Time hit the streets to feel sexy and free :)

Would you hire me please? I am in dire need of a job and I just feel like dressing up as an executive or something like that. I don't know if I achieved the look though. I was trying different poses and I hope it didn't appear that awkward. It's super hard! Hahaha! Practicing to attract positive vibes!
My face was kinda dewy already but I think I like the effect. The lip tint or whatever you call it absolutely wonderful... The shade and the matte feel is just perfect! And it lasts pretty long! Credits to the make up artist for that ;)
Would really like to work in an office or a bank someday. That would be pretty cool. As of now, I'm settling into dressing up like one and continue to dream about it. More like a goal actually... because goals are dreams with deadlines. Fingers are crossed and may the odds be ever in my favor.

We can't decide where to eat and we happen to pass by Army Navy. Believe me it looks very inviting. I was also very curious why people swarm their place. It was already an hour past lunch time and our tummies were are already grumbling. So we went in and right then and there we just decided to order. The prices are quite expensive compared to other restos or burger places in the metro but I think they're worth the try... and this was all our first time anyway... So yea! It's worth it. I think what we ordered were tasty and yummy! It was a safe order for first timers.

Services are good! Store is clean. Price ranges from 165 to 200 ++ . They don't have value meals... Or maybe I was just too hungry to notice. Haha! Over all... Thumbs up! Would love to type down the prices but it's too lengthy... Until the next food trip!

Nothing feels more comfortable wearing this dress in a breezy day. I feel so care free! :)

Plus Abreeza just gives the feels for this kind of stuff. I seldom become a lady ya know. Haha. Wearing a simple dress like this makes me feel good and confident. Who wouldn't say no to a pretty floral dress?
I got to use my black brassiere from Bench Body and how I totally love it! Perfect for all the sheer tops I have.
I'm usually seen with a cardigan or a jacket in whatever I wear. Its like a part of me already. Being skinny has its downfalls because I'm most likely sensitive to both heat and cold. So, I'd rather sweat to death than die of cold. Haha!

What better way to bond with le mum? Girl stuff eh? :)

We made use of the nail•a•holics gift certificates she got last Christmas. It's time to pamper ourselves!

We availed their services at their branch in Abreeza Ayala Malls and guess what? It's our first time!

If I were to judge just based on the physical aspect... It's already a thumbs up. Squeaky clean and super organized! :D

I originally wanted this nail polish but le mum made a face that I couldn't understand when I got it out of the basket and so I changed it... I'll have this one next time though. Hahaha. 

Pretty Julia Montes gracing the cover of Cosmopolitan magazine. It kept me preoccupied during the wait.

My nails all done. Pastel Yellow FTW. I love Orly Nail Polish! :D Besides the polish stuff I think what I loved most is the massaging part. It's sooooooooo good! I wanted more. Haha!

Only had my toenails done so I finished early. I had to charge my phone and make use of the Wifi! :D

Le mum on the other hand took 48 years to finish. We were the last ones out! Hahaha

She seems happy :)

Two thumbs up for this place. Quite expensive compared to others but I guess it's worth it. I think their edge from the other salon/spa is that their environment is really relaxing. For a business like this I think the people/services matters most and it's safe to say that they achieved that. I also noticed that the staff are knowledgeable about the whole nail stuff and can talk about it confidently. It's good to know you're in good hands right? ;)

The one attending us said that most of their customers are foreigners and they usually avail their waxing services. I might try soon if I gather up some guts to endure the pain. Haha. A group of tourists were also there and said that they're loyal nailaholics customers in Manila. They seemed quite happy to find out that they also have a branch here in Davao. As for us first timers, we were highly satisfied with their services and we will definitely back for more. Let me know about your experience! :D
